My first big trip was to Australia for a month when I was 15. I sold calendars door to door to save up for it, and ever since, my love for exploring has only gotten stronger. In college, I studied abroad, which just added to the travel bug. After that, I went on some wild backpacking trips, sweating it out in 100+ degree heat, and later ended up visiting remote islands for my job in international public health. Over the years, I’ve done it all—from super budget-friendly adventures to trips with a touch of bougie vibes.

Now that we’ve got three kids, we make the most of school breaks and weekends to explore as much of England (where we live) and Europe as possible! Whether it’s hiking in the Alps, cliff jumping in Italy, or sneaking in city breaks, we’re all about experiencing it all. We hope we can help make your next adventure even easier by sharing tips and ideas to help you plan!

How did you End up in England?

Before I got married, I always said I wanted to raise my kids abroad. But after tying the knot, it turned out my husband was a total homebody, so the chance never really came up.

Fast forward 12 years and three kids later, and guess what? Our chance finally showed up! My husband got a work assignment that brought us to England for at least three years. We spent eight months prepping for the big move, and once all the behind-the-scenes stuff was sorted, we packed up and took the leap.

Moving abroad has been a wild ride—it’s been everything I imagined and nothing like I expected, all at the same time. There have been plenty of ups and downs, but we’re so thankful for this opportunity to live here and grow.

Now, a year in, we’re finally feeling at home. The kids are loving their schools, and we’re fully embracing life in England. It definitely took longer to adjust than I thought it would, but honestly, it’s been so worth it. If you’ve ever thought about moving abroad and have questions, feel free to DM me on Insta—I’m happy to chat!
